Corporate Info

Cha’Balthasar Services Ltd - or CHAS for short - is a corporation focusing on the implementation of innovative technologies and comprehensive solutions to societal, business and environmental problems. It also emphasizes a responsible cooperation between business, NGO’s and educational organizations.

Thus, CHAS brings an educational and developmental component to every project it develops. Accordingly, all waste to energy projects will include seminars for the public, educational materials, educational websites and classroom curriculum concerning environmental responsibility. In this way, each community that opts for our technology will be better equipped to solve the problems of today, and also build long term solutions in their local context.

Notably, CHAS believes in building strategic partnerships that contribute to the welfare of the people and communities where it operates. So, we make sure that there is place in our corporate structures for input and participation. Every employee of CHAS makes a commitment to community service of some nature to be included in their job description when they are hired and paid for by the company.

Examples of this include: providing strategic evaluation, planning and consultation for small educational institutions throughout Eurasia, providing corporate planning for small enterprises and start-ups in developing countries, participating in developing public awareness and a pro-active response to human trafficking, and others.

New recruits to the company are evaluated not only on their ability to bring value to the company, but also value to their community.

CHAS was incorporated in Cyprus to better position itself for business within the European Union, the Middle East, and Western Asia. Though these are regions often ignored by Western based corporations, CHAS sees the benefit of investing in these countries while helping to build their infrastructure for a more successful future. In this way, the contribution made by CHAS will multiply itself for decades to come.

Another unique aspect of CHAS’s corporate philosophy is the desire to develop long-term relationships in each country in which it is engaged. Our goal is not simply to ‘promote’ technology, take the profits and leave. Rather, it is to remain on site and develop both the workers and managers of our projects. Thus, CHAS normally chooses not to import a labour force, rather to develop one on-site.

In connection with that, CHAS seeks investors and financiers who will partner with us and invest funds in the development of these infrastructures and ventures. Although this may appear to bring more business risk due to fluctuating commodity and currency markets, CHAS projects are designed on financial models to mitigate against such risks. In fact, our philosophy of building a local work force is one of the strengths in reducing these risks and keeping more money within the local setting.

CHAS establishes corporations in each of the countries where it works and contributes to the local economy.

CHAS is the founder of companies within the Eko Energy Group. This group maintains corporate independence while promoting shared resources, solutions and infrastructure support. Thus, a new corporate model is born that is not based on a foreign partnership that makes decisions outside of the local context and which only wants to remove its profits. It also maintains a minority equity position in all the companies and projects that it develops.
